You do not find clarity. You construct it.

I had the honor of working with AJ to refine his WHY statement. Through that experience, I learned that his is an incredible servant leader who deeply cares about the people he connects with on an individual basis. He has an amazing ability to see people for who they are an support them in bringing out their best version of themselves. He has an innate ability to construct clarity for others so that they can feel safe and discover their own identity. I highly recommend connecting with AJ not only as a leader, but as a person who will build you up, make you feel seen, and support you in your own development.

To say that working with AJ on my WHY Discovery was transformative would be a gross understatement. It was that, and so, so much more. AJ has the ability to listen with a generosity of spirit that is, sadly, becoming more and more infrequent these days. During our time together, he was somehow simultaneously silent and yet his presence was profoundly palpable. There was space for me to speak and I knew I was not alone on the journey. He asked questions that were thoughtful and pertinent. He let me speak until my words trailed off because my thoughts were doing the same. There were times even I felt lost in the apparent quagmire of ideas and information. And after that, after that was when the real magic happened. As a matter of course, I imagine, after our session AJ sent me a document that encapsulated our time together. It contained what I said, what he heard and how all of it came together in a beautiful WHY statement, as well as a most brilliant list of HOWs (another element of the process). Reading this substantial document felt like looking in a mirror - which is quite a feat considering how different those two actions are, reading and looking. But that is truly what it felt like. It was like he was somehow able, through some of the most poignant and insightful writing talent I have ever come across, to SEE me: who I am, what I care about, what I need to thrive, how I cope and what led me to become the person I am today. If you are lucky enough to work with AJ, your life will be forever changed for the better. Mine certainly has been.
